It's a bit late, but I've found it just now. On 6th of January arrived "los Reyes Magos" (the Three Wise Men) and now "los Cuyes Magos", haha. "Cuy" means "guinea pig". But in Spanish language there are a lot of words meaning "guinea pig", from the article you can find out how
(Wikipedia)

Do you know who the Three Wise Men are? And why it is so important if you are learning Spanish? How were you waiting for Santa Claus to come a few weeks ago? Was it the most important night and day of the year for you? For the most Spanish or latinamerican children this night (5th January) brings those magical moments, joy and of course presents
A few days before the day they write a letter to them asking for presents. They can address the message to Gaspar, Melchor, Baltasar or all of them. On 5th January everybody is excited, the kings are coming!
The children are waiting for them with the Cabalgata, where the kings will appear on camels (or horses, or chariot), between a plenty of famous and popular characters. The same night, when the children are sleeping already, the kings visit them and leave sweeties and presents. Of course just for the good kids! If you were bad, don't wait for good stuff! You will get coal instead!
The children leave a bit of water and grass for the camels. It was a long journey from the Orient, isn't it? So the next day (6th January) awakening, they find the presents and everybody is happy. This day is called "el Da de los Reyes Magos".
According to the tradition the Three Wise Men brougth presents to the new-born Jesus to Bethlehem following a star. He got some gold, frankincense and myrrh.
In Spain there are more smaller traditions about this day as it really important.
If you are interested you can simple google it, or if you want to improve your Spanish meanwhile just look at this page
